Bobbie Aug is a nationally known teacher and lecturer residing in Colorado Springs, CO. She has taught and lectured at The International Quilt Festival, Houston TX and Rosemont/Chicago, IL, The American Quilter’s Society Show, Paducah, KY and many others. She has co-authored eight books, including String Quilts With Style, Charm Quilts With Style, Vintage Quilts and Quilt Blocks X Nine. Bobbie has appeared on Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson and also has appeared on the 9th episode of the new “American Quilter” TV Show on Lifetime Real Women channel. Her articles and quilts have appeared in several national quilting magazines.
Bobbie is a Quilt Appraiser, certified by The American Quilter’s Society, co-administrator of the Appraisal Certification Committee for AQS and a member of The Colorado Quilting Council, American Quilt Study Group, International Quilter’s Association (Bobbie is Vice President of Education), The National Quilter’s Association and several other guilds.
In addition to being a contemporary quiltmaker and collector, Bobbie colects antique quilts and is a full-time quilt scholar.

Cynthia England is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston and has been creating quilts for more than thirty years. Experimentation with quilting techniques led her to develop her own unique style “Picture Piecing.”
Cynthia’s quilts have been honored with many awards, including two Best of Shows at the prestigious International Quilt Association. Her quilt, "Piece and Quiet" was distinguished as one of the Hundred Best Quilts of the 20th Century.
Cynthia teaches and lectures nationally and internationally. In addition, she is the designer and owner of England Design Studios which is a publishing/pattern company which specializes in the “Picture Piecing" technique. She has over 50 patterns that use this technique.

Scott Murkin, M.D., is a Family Practice and Occupational Medicine specialist from North Carolina. Originally from a quilting family in Illinois, he currently designs original quilts for the bed and wall.
Scott exhibits nationally and internationally, has his textile artworks in prestigious public and private collections and has had his quilts appear in numerous publications including American Quilter, Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine, Quiltmaker, Quilting Quarterly, and Great American Quilts.
Scott is an NQA Certified Quilt Judge who has judged throughout the country, including American Quilter’s Society and International Quilt Association shows In addition to judging quilt shows, he enjoys doing programs and workshops for guilds, festivals and quilt shops.
