Painting with Cloth

A slide lecture shows Katie’s development from early paintings through traditional quilts up to present contemporary wall quilts. She will show early traditional quilts, Mandalas, 3-dimensional quilts, isometric quilts, fractured landscape quilts and her new ghost layer + color washes. Inspirations, funny stories, design techniques, mistakes and foul-ups will all be part of the lecture.
