Quilter's Guild of Dallas

Be a Show Volunteer!

Did you know that the Dallas Quilt Celebration is the largest volunteer-driven quilt show in the nation? It takes a monumental number of volunteer hours to get the proverbial show on the road!

Being a volunteer is NOT limited to only Guild members. We welcome just about all comers (we draw the line at young children.) We'll make it worth your while:

The success of any large ‘volunteer run’ event relies heavily on the good will and helping hands of all its members. We need volunteers to collect tickets, serve as ‘booth sitters’, ‘quilt angels’ and a host of other duties. Four ways we make being a 2010 Dallas Quilt Celebration volunteer worth your while:

  • Two (2) or more hours of your time, your admission to the show that day is FREE.
  • Four (4) or more hours of service, you will receive a thank you gift.
  • Eight (8) or more hours you will receive a pin and/or pin bar in addition to the four hour volunteer gift.
  • The Guild also provides a light lunch for volunteers any day you work.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form and send to the address as instructed.

The Volunteer Coordinator will send a reminder email with instructions in early March 2010 to volunteers who sign-up by the February Guild meeting.
