Be a Show Volunteer!

Did you know that the Dallas Quilt Celebration is the largest volunteer-driven quilt show in the nation? It takes a monumental number of volunteer hours to get the show on the road! We need volunteers to collect tickets, serve as 'booth sitters', 'quilt angels' and a host of other duties.

Being a volunteer is NOT limited to only Guild members. We welcome just about all comers (we draw the line at young children.) We'll make it worth your while!

We have four ways of thanking our 2011 Dallas Quilt Celebration volunteers:

  • Two (2) or more hours of your time, your admission to the show that day is FREE.
  • Four (4) or more hours of service, you will receive a thank you gift. This year, it is the cup shown at right, an insulated drinking cup with straw in a bright green with the show logo imprinted in white.
  • Eight (8) or more hours you will receive the 'wings' pin and/or pin bar in addition to the four hour volunteer gift.
  • The Guild also provides a light lunch for volunteers any day you work.

If you are interested in volunteering, please click HERE to download a pdf of the volunteer form. Complete the form and send as instructed. The Volunteer Coordinator will send a reminder email with instructions in early March 2012 to volunteers who sign-up by the February Guild meeting.
