Advertising in the Show Program

We print approximately 7,500 copies of our multi-page show program. Our program is not your average “guild quilt show program.” The outside is printed in full-color, showcasing a special quilt or two as well as the logos of our show sponsors. The inside features not only listings of the quilts entered, but information about our lecture topics, features about QGD activities and (of course) lots of advertising featuring vendors, DFW merchants and upcoming quilt events.

It is distributed free of charge to each of our show visitors and out-of-town entrants. Additionally, we believe the program reaches a secondary audience via friends sharing their program and photos with fellow quilters at home and visitors who save their programs from year to year as a vendor resource when seeking specific products later. With this level of visibility, we feel that our show program presents a golden opportunity for your advertising dollar to reach your target audience.

That said, space reserved for advertising is limited. As we need to begin program layout early, we need to receive your ad reservation and payment no later than January 10, 2022. If we have not received your ad space reservation by this date, we will assume that you are declining to advertise in the program.

This year, the show chairman’s theme category is “My Travels.” You may wish to get into the spirit of the show and utilize the theme in your advertising.

Please be aware that advertising in the show program is NOT tied to having a vendor booth. Any business, individual, or Guild is welcome to take advertising space to promote their business, as long as it is quilting related.

Artwork Requirements

All ads must be in digital format. Hard copy ads will not be accepted.

A press-ready PDF of your ad is preferred, however a high-resolution JPG/JPEG is also acceptable. Any program can be used to create the ad as long as the resulting PDF or JPG of the advertising artwork is high-resolution and press-ready.

Ads must be submitted as black and white files only. The only color advertising available is the inside front and back covers, and those are generally reserved for Platinum level sponsors. Therefore, no color files will be accepted.

To make advertising submitted by sponsors stand out, a colored border will be added to sponsor ads when the ad is placed in the program.

Any ad that is not submitted in the formats described above will not be accepted and payment will not be refunded. Any editing that is required will be billed at $50.00 per hour, payable to the Guild. If you cannot create an ad in the listed formats, you can contact Kelly Edwards, Program Advertising Manager ( ) to have the ad created for you at the same rate, also payable to the Guild.

Advertising Deadlines

Advertising reservations are due by January 10, 2022 

Camera-ready artwork is due no later than February 3, 2022 

Advertising space is limited, so reservations will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
