Friendship Groups

It’s often difficult to get to know other Guild members at our general meetings as there’s always a great deal of activity and a scheduled agenda for the evening. Friendship Groups, sometimes referred to as “small groups,” are made up of Guild members who get together with others in their area on a weekly or monthly basis in a more intimate and informal atmosphere for friendship, conversation and quilting. Joining a Friendship Group will give you a better opportunity to meet others in a more relaxed environment. It will also make general meetings more enjoyable as you will begin to recognize familiar faces.

As a member of the Guild, you are encouraged to join one or more Friendship Groups, which are listed below. If there isn’t a group near you, you may want to consider starting one. Just put a notice in The QGD Newsletter soliciting interest and you may have a flock of friends before you know it!
